I am taking a break from writing on real estate today to talk about marketing of TwoAverageJoes.com. I always spend some time each day reading other blogs. One blog that I find helpful is Copyblogger. One post last month was about developing Unique Selling Proposition (USP), a marketing term for companies. How do you differentiate yourself from your competition.

What is my USP? Why would anyone want to read my blog? I have spent sometime thinking about this and this is what I have come up with. You should read my blog because I will not sugar coat it. I will relate exactly what we do and what we learn. There will be no hype here. After thousand of dollars spent on training and seminars and years of buying many properties, we have knowledge and insight into real estate that we want to share with you. Not just share with you to sell you the next product. Will we sell products? Yes we will, but our products we always include the pros and cons of what we recommend and will have all our experiences not just all the good. We have found that with all techniques there are positive and negative aspects. We will tell you want they are before hand, like Emerson rehab. It is not an attempt to scare you but to give you a health respect for the profession you will be entering. That is for the real estate investor and future real estate investor, but I hope we make it interesting enough that others will want to read my blog to see how we are doing. It is definitely not “Flip This House” but we do have fun.
We love real estate and there are times it is harder than hard but most times it is exhilarating. We want to share that exhilaration with you. We hope you share your stories with us and together we learn more that can help us make more profits in the future. So please stop by every now and then and tell us how we are doing.
